‘Midland Longest Table’ is sold out

Thriving United’s Easter service and brunch, called Easter Brunch at Midland’s Longest Table, has been called a “sellout”.

The first-time event, scheduled for Sunday, is sold out and organizers are delighted with the response.

“We can’t believe how quickly the community booked tickets to this event,” said Ty Johnson, Community Outreach Manager for Thriving United. “It’s not only exciting, but confirms something we already knew; the community has one mind.

Thriving United created the event with the aim of bringing the community together, neighbors next to neighbors at the same table in camaraderie and friendship to celebrate Easter.

“After two years of the pandemic and the community and family challenges it created, we felt confident it was time to bring the community together in a way that had never been done before,” Johnson wrote. “Anyone of any age or background is invited to break bread with friends and neighbors to celebrate the joy of the season.”

The event will include a free brunch, Easter service and “Midland’s biggest Easter egg hunt.”

The event will include an Easter brunch at tables spread across a block in downtown Midland, an Easter service and Midland’s largest Easter egg hunt with over 6,000 Easter eggs prepared from a very unique way.
