Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah promised to start on Sunday the process of distributing land and bank loans for young people, in addition to medical insurance and salary increases for different groups of people.

Speaking at Martyrs’ Square in Tripoli on the 11th anniversary of the February 17 revolution, Dbeibah said his government would start offering medical insurance to pensioners and the rest of the groups of people would then follow, adding that his government would donate 50,000 plots of land through the Real Estate Investment and Savings Bank and 100,000 apartments from unfinished construction projects with loans for young Libyans.

Dbeibah said his government would raise the salaries of interior ministry executives after doing the same for health and education workers, pledging to maintain marriage fund allowances and promising that families martyrs will benefit from the reinstatement of Law 01 of 2014 from last month (January 2022). He also confirmed that a committee has been formed to monitor the treatment of the injured inside and outside Libya with a budget of one billion dinars.

“Our goal is to hold elections in June and a new roadmap will be announced on Sunday. We are with the elections and against the transitional periods. We call on members of the House of Representatives and the High Council of State to listen to the three million people who want elections. No return to war, conflict or division. He explained.
