CapIntel Announces New Partnership with NEI Investments
Canada-based CapIntel, a sales platform for financial advisors and asset management sales teams, has announced a partnership with NEI Investments (NEI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of one of the wealth management firms of Canada, Aviso Wealth Inc.
Through this new partnership, NEI will use CapIntel’s FinTech solutions to streamline sales operations and improve the use of fund data. The companies say that with the help of CapIntel’s proprietary technology, NEI wholesalers will benefit from increased efficiency in their day-to-day tasks, such as the ability to make portfolio comparisons faster and easily create media best-in-class sales force to help advisors. in their conversations with customers.
CapIntel’s platform will integrate with NEI’s existing technology, taking the company’s sales enablement capabilities to a new level in response to advisor demands and client expectations.

Twitter will add podcasts and new audio hubs to its platform

Twitter has spear an experience with select users that will feature an all-new, redesigned audio journey, including a revamped Spaces tab. The new features will allow Twitter users to listen to podcasts on the platform and have a more personalized listening experience through new audio hubs designed specifically for them.
Custom hubs group audio content by categories such as news, music, and sports. Twitter listeners can now access a more comprehensive selection of live and recorded spaces discussing the topics they want to hear.
Currently, the experience will only be available to a select group of people globally whose Twitter settings are set to the English language, on iOS and Android.
Three Canadian startups join the Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders Program Class of 2022

Three Canadian women-led startups will participate in the 2022 Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders program. Startups include MedEssist, Blossom Social, and Emaww.

Emaww is a Montreal-based company that provides advanced, non-intrusive emotion analytics for websites to improve their user experience and improve their digital well-being through emotional intelligence.
The 10-week program aims to provide women founders with technical support and mentorship opportunities to help them grow their business. This year’s cohort includes 12 female-led startups from Canada and the United States
Xero partners with the Black Business and Professional Association to launch a scholarship

Xero, a provider of cloud-based accounting software for small and medium-sized businesses, announced an annual fellowship with the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA). The award, based on academic achievement and financial need, will be awarded to a Black student studying any field of accounting at an accredited Canadian college or university.
Gartner’s Labor Market Survey, released last year, found that corporate finance ranks among the lowest of all industries when it comes to increasing representation, people of color accounting for only 11% of the total workforce and only 6% of management positions in finance. .
This recent move aims to improve those numbers and represents an evolution of Xero’s partnership with BBPA, established in 2021.
