A McDonald’s employee’s claims manager spied on her with a camera

A McDonald’s worker doesn’t like it – accusing co-workers and managers of allegedly ‘spying’ on her via security camera.
The series of three now viral videos – which have accumulated more than 5 million views Tuesday morning – was posted by the disgruntled worker identified only as Tizzy,. who cries while wearing his uniform.
According to Tizzie, she is the only employee in her store who takes orders from customers while the other co-workers “do what they want” and the managers turn a blind eye.
“I have something to say about McDonald’s: first of all, don’t work there. Don’t work there,” the visibly upset blonde says in the clip, one of many viral employee speeches. McD’s outspoken.” My managers can see it, and I hope you see it, because what you did to your own employee is wrong. It’s odious, it’s gross and it’s horrible.
The checked TikToker goes on to claim that she told her manager ahead of time that her grandmother was coming to visit her at the new job. However, once her grandmother arrived, Tizzie alleges that her boss barged in and told her that she was neglecting another order in favor of her parent’s.
“There were no orders on the screen…I’ll take her order and treat her like any other customer…You can see that on the security camera,” Tizzie says. “But before I take her order, an employee walks in and waves at the camera… And she says, ‘Oh, you know the manager is watching you.’ “

Tizzie claimed every employee — and every manager — was watching the scene unfold via a remote closed-circuit camera in another room.
“I walk to the security room, all but one of the employees and all the managers are watching me on the security camera. Every one of them,” she exclaimed.
“Imagine this: all of your employees are watching you behind your back. I was the one who got reprimanded for not working, but they’re all looking at me like I’m some kind of reality TV show?”

Several TikTok commenters flocked to the video, offering words of support and disparaging the fast food.
“McDonald’s managers are literally on a power trip, they couldn’t be managers anywhere else so they think they own the place,” one user quipped.
“You should hand in your notice saying you are resigning with immediate effect. And you should complain to HR,” another said.

“No job is worth it. Absolutely none. Protect your sanity above anything else. You deserve to be happy xx” consoled a TikTok watchdog.
The Post has reached out to McDonald’s and Tizzie for comment.
In two follow-up videos – which have 340.7K and 268.8K views each – she said that although she knows she can be fired for posting the videos, no amount of money is “worth the humiliation”.
On the third click, the Tiktoker slams McDonalds as a whole and says that despite being the only one who worked, he still got paid like everyone else.
“No matter how hard I work, no matter how good I am, how bad I am, how fast I work, it doesn’t change the price. I still get the same salary,” says Tizzie.
“But it’s not even about the money at this point. It is a matter of human decency.
Tizzie announced in her comments on TikTok that she would indeed be stepping down.
“Thank you guys for all the support! I appreciate it so much, I’m going to tender my resignation because it made me feel so humiliated and embarrassed,” she said.
